Celebrating World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2023

World Day for Safety and Health at Work is celebrated every year on 28 April and aims to raise awareness of the importance of safety and health at work and to promote a culture of prevention of occupational accidents and diseases worldwide.

This day was established by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in 2003 and has since become an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of ensuring a safe and healthy working environment, and to promote measures and policies that protect workers and reduce occupational hazards. Each year, the ILO chooses a specific theme for this day to address current and future challenges in this field, this year it is celebrated under the theme: “A safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle and right at work”.

Promoting the fundamental right to a safe and healthy working environment is essential to ensure the protection of human rights and the well-being of workers.

How does the IDP Group promote the fundamental right to a safe and healthy working environment?

3. Having an occupational health and safety management system based on the ISO 45001 standard.

4. The IDP Group has an Occupational Risk Prevention Plan with the aim of establishing the guidelines, developing the actions and criteria that guarantee the health and safety of workers in all aspects related to work.

5. Providing occupational safety training workers to take preventive measures and to be prepared in case of emergencies.

      • Providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
      • Programming training courses adapted to the jobs and the risks involved.
