BDTA organizes the 1st International Building Digital Twin Congress

Next Thursday, May 27, 2021, is the celebration of the International Building Digital Twins Congress (BDTIC), the first international event dedicated to the Building Digital Twins for Building.

Organized by the Building Digital Twin Association (BDTA), this event aims to become the benchmark for the application of Digital Twin technologies in construction, industrialization, sustainability and asset management.

This first edition will be an open, online, high-level seminar, organized in two sessions and two keynote lectures by Michael Grieves and Ioannis Brilakis. You will have the opportunity to gain insights directly from 17 experts and better understand why the construction sector must embrace digitalization as the new scenario that will bring more efficiency, productivity and cost optimization and will provide a dynamic overview of the current state of Building Digital Twins, from NASA to the most advanced and ongoing European projects.

This event is organized by the Building Digital Twin Association (BDTA), which was created in May 2020 in Belgium, under the umbrella of the SPHERE project, to foster an open ecosystem for building twin digital environments. It currently has 20 members from 10 European countries including technology, IT and engineering leaders such as VTT, TNO, BASF, Caverion or Spanish companies such as IDP, COMSA or Empresarios Agrupados.
