IDP acquires galician engineering INDUTEC, a specialist in the food industry

The IDP Group integrate the company INDUTEC, an engineering in Galicia with offices in A Coruña and Lugo, leader in all sectors of the food industry: dairy, fishing, meat, fruit and vegetable, bakery, agriculture, beverages and animal feed, with more than 2,000 projects carried out for clients such as Leche Pascual, Conservas Albo, Central Lechera Asturiana, Entrepinares, Grupo Sada, Grupo Nogar and Puleva, among many others.

With the acquisition of INDUTEC we reinforce firstly our experience and knowledge in the food industry, one of the sectors that has best withstood the year 2020 and that we are convinced will have a strong growth in the coming years, incorporating one of the major players in the sector in Spain integrated by a large team of multidisciplinary professionals expert in the field, and secondly we strengthen our position in the domestic market by adding the offices of A Coruña and Lugo, to those of Madrid, Sabadell-Barcelona and Jerez, giving a better service of proximity to our customers in northwestern Spain.

This acquisition is part of the strategic growth plan approved since the entry into the shareholding of NAZCA on July 22, 2020, with the aim of positioning IDP as the first group of engineering services based on BIM in Spain and Portugal, with presence also in Latam, with strong capabilities and credentials in industry, logistics, retail, environment and infrastructure, providing differential and innovative value throughout the life cycle of the assets, from the design phase to the operation and maintenance by applying digital twins.
