IDP Group closes the first half of 2023 with 15% growth compared to 2022

The engineering group IDP, leader in Spain in the development of projects using BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, closes the first half of the current year with a revenue of 15.2 million euros, which represents an increase of 14.9% over the same period of the previous year, an EBITDA of 3.0 million euros, equivalent to 19.8% of revenue, and an EBT of 2.5 million euros.

Last year, the IDP Group closed with revenues of EUR 26.8 million and EBITDA of EUR 5.7 million, equivalent to 21.3% of revenues, reflecting solid profitability and operational efficiency.

During this period, the company has achieved sustained growth and consolidated its position in the market, and has a backlog, that is to say, the portfolio of signed projects pending production, amounting to 69.9 million euros, indicating a solid workflow and promising prospects for the future.

Likewise, in this first half of the year, 700,000 euros were invested in R&D&I, consolidating its line of innovation, one of the company’s strategic pillars to drive digitalisation and continue to provide differential value to society.

In terms of human resources, the IDP Group currently has a team of 480 highly qualified professionals. Of these, 82% are university graduates and 32% are women. Diversity and talent are fundamental pillars in the company’s growth strategy.
