IDP is awarded the Technical Assistance for the execution of the Environmental Center of the Pamplona Region (Spain)
Servicios de la Comarca de Pamplona (SCPSA) has awarded the IDP Group the technical assistance for the project and construction of the Environmental Center of the Pamplona Region, in the municipality of Noain-Valle de Elorz, Navarra.
Servicios de la Comarca de Pamplona, a company of the Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona, a local entity made up of 50 municipalities and with a population of approximately 379,000 inhabitants, is responsible for the management of public services for both the supply and sanitation of water and the management of waste in the region.
The Environmental Center of the Pamplona Region will consist of a versatile, integrated and flexible facility composed of a mechanical treatment facility for the Residual Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste and packaging for a total input at its nominal point of 65,000 t/year, a facility for biological treatment of organic matter for an input of 65,000 t/year of organic matter and a facility for the treatment of wood for an input of 6,500 t/year; as well as other facilities corresponding to the use of biogas in the form of biomethane and for the supply of CNG; energy use facilities (photovoltaic panels) and a new warehouse for trucks and vehicles for the waste collection service.
The IDP Group will provide technical assistance to the direction of the drafting of the project, direction of the work and start-up of the new Environmental Center of the Pamplona Region, all using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology that allows to design, project , organize and manage the infrastructure information in a parameterized, complete, unique and centralized model throughout its life cycle, from its conceptualization to its execution on site, using dynamic 3D modeling software and in real time.
The IDP Group is positioned as a multidisciplinary engineering with experience in the development of projects using the BIM methodology in different areas and consolidates its experience in environmental projects, where it is currently developing a considerable number of national and international projects.
