IDP is the engineering company responsible for two projects that have received the main allocations of the second call of the Strategic Projects for the Recovery and Economic Transformation (PERTE) of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (VEC), which has reached the allocation of 95% of the planned funds.

These items include 49.2 million granted to South Korea’s Lotte Energy Materials, for its new plant specialising in the production of elecfoil, a copper sheet essential for the manufacture of lithium battery cells, located in Mont-roig del Camp (Tarragona); and 47.7 million granted to Seat, to develop its new plant for the assembly of battery cells, located in the industrial center of Martorell (Barcelona).

Both projects will play a key role in economic transformation and sustainable development in our country.
