IDP participates in the industrial research and innovation activ4.0 project
IDP participates in the collaborative project of industrial research, experimental development and innovation ACTIV4.0. It is promoted by the Comunitats RIS3CAT of ACCIÓ – Agency for the Competitiveness of the Company in Catalonia and that has for its object the transformation towards the digital management of the assets and processes in installations and networks supplying services through the development of the new concept of “Utilities 4.0”, with the ultimate goal of being able to offer a better service to the client/citizen.
The project will address the research and development of technologies that allow interoperability between machines, sensors and people through the Internet of Things (IoT) or people (IoP) and the ability to transform data into useful and reliable information; the aggregation and visualization of current or predictable information to make informed decisions and solve urgent problems at short notice or prevent their appearance and the application of BIM technology as an integrating tool of relevant information for the design, operation and maintenance of facilities from Advanced models of 3D representation.
It has a total budget of 2.23 million euros within three years and has the participation of the consortium of Ferrovial Servicios S.A., Gas Natural Fenosa Generación, S.L.U., Gas Natural Catalunya SDG, S.A, Aqualogy Business Software, Aquatec, Aigües de Barcelona, Fundació Eurecat, Centre de Visió per Computador, Centro Específico de Investigación en Supervisión, Seguridad y Control Automático, Centre Tecnològic de l’Aigua, Worldsensing S.L. and IDP Ingeniería y arquitectura Iberia, S.L.U.
