IDP participates in the third edition of the Building Digital Twin International Congress
The Building Digital Twin Association (BDTA), in collaboration with DigiChecks and EUnet4DBP, is organising the third edition of the Building Digital Twin International Congress (BDTIC), to be held on 3 May 2023 in Antwerp (Belgium). This year it will have a hybrid format and the presentations will also be streamed on the Zoom and Youtube Live platforms.
BDTA, Building Digital Twin Association, is an association that brings together the founding organisations linked to the consortium of the SPHERE project, framed within Horizon 2020, and aims to provide a digital platform based on BIM to optimise life cycles, cost reduction and energy improvement in buildings. It has become an international initiative that fosters an open ecosystem for building Digital Twin environments in the AECOO sector, developing and publishing specific research, certifications and assets to drive the development of the Building Digital Twin sector.
The congress will be attended by 3 keynotes speakers, more than 20 speakers, world leaders in the BDT sector, and two round tables in which Urban Digital Twins, use cases and European projects will be discussed. In the framework of the Congress, 4 workshops will also be organised, dedicated to: Ontologies, Building Digital Twin en Infraestructuras, DBP Processes y Privacy Metrics & Ethics.
During this third edition we will have the presentation “Sphere Project Achievements” by Mikel Borras, Innovation PMO Manager of the IDP Group, in which he will explain the main challenges and achievements of the European Sphere Innovation Project.
