IDP receives recognition from the United Nations Global Compact as a prescribing entity

IDP has been distinguished as a Bronze Prescribing Entity by the United Nations Global Compact in recognition of its work in disseminating the UN Global Compact, its Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among its stakeholders.

On May 29, the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid hosted the General Assembly of the United Nations Global Compact in Spain, coinciding with its 20th anniversary. The event was attended by representatives of companies committed to sustainability in Spain, a network that already includes more than 1740 participating companies.

During the event, the awards were presented to the new 2024 prescribing entities, including IDP, becoming part of a group of 74 renowned organizations, such as FCC, Prisa, Banca March, Redia, Bankinter, ONCE, Iberostar, Roca Junyent, the Spanish Olympic Committee, Suez, UNE, Iberdola, Mercadona, among others.

The United Nations Global Compact is a UN initiative that leads business sustainability globally, urging companies and organizations to align their strategies and operations with the Ten Universal Principles on Human Rights, Labour Standards, the Environment and Anti-Corruption, and to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the business sector.

Since 2017, IDP has been part of the Spanish Global Compact Network and strives to positively impact the well-being of people and the environment. This commitment entails great responsibility and represents an opportunity to innovate and carry out new actions that strengthen our social and environmental contribution.
