Second edition of the Digital Buildings Twin International Congress
The Building Digital Twin Association (BDTA) organizes de second edition of the Building Digital Twin International Congress (BDTIC) which will be held on May 26,2022 in Barcelona.Is the first edition to be held in a hybrid format, that means, it Will be fase to fase at the College of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of Barcelona (CAATEEB) and can be seen live on YouTube Live. This second edition Will be revolve around: “Urban Digital Twin, how to connect BDTs with Smart Grids, the simulation process, use of platforms and software”.
BDTA, Building Digital Twin Association, is an association that brings together the founding organizations linked to the SPHERE project consortium, framed within Horizon 2020, and aims to provide a digital platform based on BIM to optimize life cycles, reduce costs and energy improvement in buildings. It has become an international initiative that promotes an open ecosystem to build Digital Twin environments in the AECOO sector, developing and publishing research, certifications and specific assets to promote the development of the Building Digital Twin sector.
The congress will feature the participation of 19 speakers, world leaders in the sector, who will generate new knowledge about BDT and will hold 4 workshops on ontology and semantics, privacy and ethics metrics, real-time simulation and artificial intelligence, as well as the first meeting of EU projects focused on the Building DigitalTwin. Likewise, the congress will have 2 keynote speakers and a round table to discuss Urban Digital Twin issues, how to connect BDTs with Smart Grids, the simulation process, use of platforms and software, among other topics.
During this second edition we will have a presentation by Luis Adrián, Head of ICT Development Department of the IDP Group. The round table will be moderated by Mikel Borrás, Innovation PMO Manager of the IDP Group and the presentation and welcome will be given by Eduard Loscos, R&D Manager of the IDP Group and president of the BDTA.
