New regulations on decarbonization and energy transition in the European Union

The European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 legislative package aligns EU climate, energy, transport, and taxation policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels, and to reach climate neutrality by 2050.

From IDP we are providing technical assistance in various projects on the development of infrastructures and pilots for the implementation of new fuels and renewable energies and we promote the development of energy efficient industries.

Considering the industrial sectors and their emission reduction targets in order to align with the new regulations derived from the European Green Deal, it is possible to address projects aimed at smart energy grids, digital transformation, total decarbonization of industrial activity or the reduction of pollutant emissions, whether from industrial plants, buildings or transport. Projects to increase the use and production of renewable energies, to replace fossil fuels with renewable or low-carbon fuels or energy efficiency in buildings can also be included.

These projects are in line with the different actions that are being implemented to minimize the impact of industrial activity on the environment and to contribute to its development under criteria of economic, social and environmental sustainability.

Let us assist you in the development of your roadmap and its further development into concrete projects.
