ACTIV4.0 Project

Project Active 4.0 aims to advance advanced asset operation and management.

OBJECTIVES

Activ4.0 aims at the transformation towards the digital management of assets and processes in facilities and service provider networks through the development of the new concept of “Utilities 4.0”, with the goal of being able to offer a better service to the customer/citizen.

The project will address the research and development of technologies that enable interoperability between machines, sensors and people through the Internet of Things (IoT) or People (IoP) and the ability to transform data into useful and reliable information, the aggregation and visualisation of current or predictable information to make informed decisions and solve urgent problems at short notice or prevent their occurrence, the autonomous decision making capability of cyber-physical systems or delegation to a higher level through multi-criteria optimisation in case of conflict, the application of BIM technology as an integrating tool of relevant information for the design, operation and maintenance of facilities based on advanced 3D representational models.
