Tailings dam for exploitation of Cu and Mo ore from the Quebrada Blanca open pit mine, in the Tarapacá region (Chile)

  • The new dam is 641 m long, 120 m high and has a base of 350 m
  • The crest of the dam is at an absolute height of 3,855 m above sea level and rises on an embankment of 7,306,734 m3 with 133 levels and 11 sublevels.
