COOKIES POLICY

IDP ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE IBERIA, S.L. (hereinafter referred to as “IDP") informs you, through this cookie policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Cookie Policy"), about the use of data storage and retrieval devices on the end devices of users.

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

Cookies are files that are downloaded to your computer/smartphone/tablet as a user (hereinafter referred to as the “User") when accessing certain websites and applications. They allow the storage and retrieval of your data.

They are used to ensure the quality, usability, and proper functioning of websites, as well as to store and retrieve information about your browsing habits and personalize their content. They can also be used, on occasions, to recognize the User of a website.

2. WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES ARE THERE?

Cookies can be classified into different types according to different criteria. A cookie can be included in more than one category:

A. According to the entity that manages them

    1. First-party cookies: First-party cookies are those sent to your device from a device or domain managed by IDP and from which the requested service is provided to the User.
    2. Third-party cookies: Third-party cookies are those sent to your device (from a device or domain that may or may not be managed by IDP) by another entity that processes the data collected by the cookie for its own purposes.

First-party cookies are identified in this policy by stating that the owner is “IDP." The rest are owned by the third parties indicated in each case. In the section “What cookies does IDP use?", you can access their respective cookie policies by clicking on the name of the third party, including any transfers to third countries that may be carried out, if applicable.

B. According to the period of time they remain active on your device

    1. Session cookies and persistent cookies: Session cookies are designed to collect and store data while you, as a User, access the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website"). The information is retained only during the session and disappears when the session ends. Persistent cookies, however, store your information as a User for a longer period of time, which can be accessed and processed by the owner of each cookie during that period. This period varies for each cookie and can range from a few minutes to several years.

C. According to their purpose

    1. Technical cookies (necessary): These cookies allow the Website to function correctly, making them essential for you to use all the options of the Website and navigate and use its features normally.
    2. Preference or customization cookies: These are cookies that allow you to remember information so that you can access the Website with features that can differentiate your experience from that of other users, such as the appearance or content of the Website, which may vary depending on the type of browser you use.
    3. Analysis or measurement cookies: These cookies allow the quantification of the number of users and their connection time, with the aim of measuring and statistically analyzing the use they make of the offered services.
    4. Advertising cookies: These are cookies that allow the most efficient management of the advertising spaces that may be included on the Website.
    5. Behavioral advertising cookies: These are cookies that allow the efficient management of the advertising spaces that may be included on the Website by storing information about your behavior as a user, obtained through continuous observation of your browsing habits. This allows the development of a specific profile to display advertisements based on that profile.
