IDP is awarded the Strategic Accessibility Plan for the ports of Alcudia, Mahon, Ibiza and La Savina

The Balearic Islands Port Authority has awarded IDP the contract for technical assistance in drafting the Strategic Plan for the definition of the necessary actions in terms of accessibility to public spaces, buildings and infrastructure in the ports of Alcudia (Mallorca), Mahon (Menorca), Ibiza and La Savina (Formentera).

The scope of the work will include an audit of the current situation in terms of accessibility in the 4 ports that will serve as a basis for, within the scope of the same technical assistance, the development and drafting of a Strategic Plan aimed at defining, at a preliminary project level, the actions to improve accessibility, taking into account the compliance with the regulations and recommendations of application, evaluating these actions and classifying them according to their location, type, importance and criticality, so that they can serve as an element of judgment in the decision making process and as a basis for the subsequent development of construction projects aimed at their materialization.

This new contract is added to the previous ones already developed for the Balearic Islands Port Authority in the Ibiza Terminal and the urbanization of La Savina, which were the first two projects in BIM carried out for Puertos del Estado.
