The IDP engineering group confirms its compromise with the efficient management obtaining the Energy Management System Certification ISO 50001, which compliments the already obtained certification for Quality Management ISO 9001 and for Environment al Management ISO 14001.

With this new certification, IDP achieves several fixed goals on its implementation such as:

• Improve the energetic efficiency,
• Reduce the gas emissions,
• Guarantee the energetic legislation accomplishment,
• Improve the available energy use,
• And normalize the energy management measures at the Sabadell, Madrid, Florianópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Quito and Lima offices, adapting them to the international standards.

Even if the energetic efficiency has gained presence in the past years because of its relevance on the viability and continuity of any business project, this is not a new concept for the IDP group, then IDP was the first engineering company in Spain to calculate its own carbon footprint, with the goal to always develop projects thinking on promoting a product that respects the planet.
