IDP participates in the HERITALISE Clustering Event

IDP participates in the HERITALISE Clustering Event, held today at the historic Valentino Castle in Turin, a meeting that brought together European professionals, researchers and institutions to address the future of the digitization of cultural heritage. The event focused on new digital methodologies, artificial intelligence, advanced visualization and immersive experiences as key tools to transform the documentation, preservation and dissemination of heritage.

During the day, Mikel Borràs, Innovation PMO Manager of the IDP Group and coordinator of the HERITALISE project, gave a presentation entitled “HERITALISE as a resource for Cultural Heritage”. In his presentation, he shared how the consortium is driving innovative tools for 2D and 3D digitization, advanced data processing and the integration of technological solutions that contribute to redefining the European cultural heritage ecosystem.

Throughout the day, different entities have presented cases, methodologies and new lines of research aimed at improving public access, visualization and participation in digital heritage.

The event culminated with a round table in which project partners and actors in the sector analysed the opportunities and challenges posed by artificial intelligence in the conservation and management of cultural heritage.
