DOF Project
The DoF project develops an ICT-based solution to facilitate the management of energy resources in three European cities.
OBJECTIVES
DoF, “District of the Future”, aims to develop an ICT-based solution to facilitate the monitoring, management and optimisation of energy production and consumption in three districts of three European cities (Corby, Orleans and Sabadell).
The project uses ICT to collect, record and monitor energy data and feed it into a software platform that will analyse energy patterns allowing for a prediction of energy consumption and energy production behaviour of each district.
DoF is part of the 7th Framework Programme of Research and Development (ICT-2013.6.4 Optimising Energy Systems in Smart Cities) of the European Union.
