Industrial plant for the manufacture of wooden boards for Kronospan in Tortosa (Tarragona), with a boiler using forest biomass and sawdust as a by-product of the plant’s production process, which produces combustion gases at 700ºC that heat the 100,000 litres of thermal oil at (300ºC), which drive, among other things, the pressing process and provide heat for the drye.
