Cristian Masana, new general manager of IDP in Chile

The IDP Group strengthens its organizational structure in Chile by appointing Cristian Masana Petersen as new General Manager, Civil Engineer and Master of Engineering Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He has a long professional career, with more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure projects, structural design, management and construction. He has carried out management tasks in engineering, construction and materials companies, having also worked with organizations such as the Chilean Chamber of Construction, the Cement and Concrete Institute of Chile, IDIEM, DICTUC, MOP, MINVU, CODELCO, mining companies, construction companies and municipalities. In addition, he has developed teaching activities at the Catholic University, Central University and the ICH.

Convinced in the application of BIM technology to give a more modern approach to the development of projects and the great contribution that its use has in the economic advantages and reduction of terms for the requirements of engineering, construction and operation, the new General Manager, will focus all its efforts, together with its team of experts and engineers, to generate greater innovation in the companies, and thus satisfy its clients with the aim of delivering higher quality services and modernize with IDP the construction industry in Chile.

IDP has been present in Chile since 2016, having developed projects in 5 of the 16 regions of the country (Antofagasta, Coquimbo, Maule, Metropolitan Region and Valparaíso) and in all strategic sectors of the Chilean economy (transportation infrastructure, building, industry, mining, integral water cycle, etc.), in such important projects as AVO I, Aguas Andinas treatment plants, concessioned highways, hospitals, among others.
