BIM/SA, the municipal company of the Barcelona City Council, awards IDP with the work direction services for the redevelopment of the Lleó XIII and García Mariño streets in Barcelona.

IDP will develop the work direction, with a foreseen duration of 5 months, carrying out a total redevelopment of the sector, replacing the damaged materials and improving the accessibility, safety and functionality conditions. Furthermore, new services will be channeled (collectors, water, telecommunications, low tension and irrigation), the streets will also be improved with the plantation of new trees, the installation of new LED lights and urban furniture, the streets will also be paved and the sidewalks will be adapted to special accessibility conditions and at the street crossing of the Lleó XIII and García Mariño streets, and elevated platform will be installed in order to give priority to the pedestrians in the school area.

The works management will guarantee at all moment the accessibility and mobility for the persons and vehicles, with a minimum affectation of the public road and it is noted that this is the first redevelopment work that IDP manages for BIM/SA thru BIM “Building Information Modeling” technology.

With this performance, IDP enlarges the volume of the current managed works, passing the hundred and standing as the referent company of work directions that ensure the execution, deadlines, costs and quality.
