IDP Chile participated in the Technological Conference: BIM and Facility Management, organized by BIM Forum at Espacio CDT (Corporación de Desarrollo Tecnológico), an event that also had exhibitors from Codelco, among others.

In this seminar participated our Project Manager, Cristóbal Ruiz, who presented the experience of IDP Chile in BIM. Specifically, recent practices with our D|Twin Asset Information application were shown” a service through which we digitize the geometry and information of assets with all their inventory and allow us to visualize the digital model in a collaborative web environment. With this application we achieve greater reliability and integrity of the assets, with the information already parameterized (COBie) for easy integration with operation and maintenance, where we obtain savings priced above 20%”.

In addition, Cristobal Ruiz showed the experience of implementing a virtual reality environment for training; where a real project carried out in a Potable Water Treatment Plant was particularly exposed.

The activity was focused on virtual training systems, platform for use of BIM model, experiences and visions around BIM and Facility Management, where participants could make known and ask questions.
