Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA, SA) has awarded the IDP Group the projects for the remodelling of spaces and adaptation of facilities in its different work centres in Catalonia, with more than 35,000 m2 built, most of them in the production centre of Sant Joan Despí (Barcelona).

The constant technological evolution requires a permanent adaptation of the work centres, which must be adapted to the new technical and operational needs, as well as adapting the facilities towards a sustainable economy, seeking maximum energy efficiency and the use of renewable and non-polluting energies in buildings.

The IDP Group will carry out the preliminary projects, basic projects, executive projects and project management for the remodelling of spaces and the adaptation and renovation of the facilities of the different centres of CCMA, SA, including the research of technical solutions and design of facilities, architectural design, technical office work, drafting of detailed projects and specifications, the legalisation of projects and works and the project management of the actions.

The contracted services include a wide variety of spaces to be redesigned, such as technical rooms (CPD’s), television and radio studios and controls, offices, warehouses, archives, changing rooms, etc., as well as urban development projects and low voltage, air conditioning, fire prevention and renewable energy installations.

All services will be carried out using BIM (Building Information Modelling) methodology, which enables the design, planning, organisation, and management of infrastructure information in a parameterised, complete, unique and centralised model throughout its life cycle, from conceptualisation to on-site execution, using dynamic 3D modelling software in real time.
