On 24 October, at an event held at Fira Sabadell, the IDP Group was awarded the 2024 Chamber of Business Merit Award. This recognition, granted by the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce, highlights IDP’s trajectory and significant impact on the region’s business fabric.

The ceremony brought together prominent personalities from the business and political spheres. The Mayor of Sabadell, Marta Farrés, welcomed the attendees, while Father Ignasi M. Fossas and Eli Martínez offered an interesting reflection on the relationship between tradition and innovation in the current business context.

Mr. Ramon Alberich, President of the Chamber, then gave a speech before giving way to the awards ceremony. The Minister of Enterprise and Employment of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Miquel Sàmper, awarded the Business Merit Award to Enric Blasco, CEO of IDP. In addition, the career of Carlos Garriga Sels, president of the Mikalor Group, was recognized, as well as the longevity of the company Grau, S.A. These awards were presented by Mr. Xavier Comerma, Deputy General Manager and Regional Director of Catalonia of Banc Sabadell, and Mr. Ramon Alberich, respectively.
