Metgro, “Metal Recovery from Low Grade Ores and Waste Plus”, w aims to develop new innovative metallurgical technologies that enable flexible, cost-effective and sustainable designs in the recovery of low-grade metals from both primary sources and secondary resources.

The project focuses on innovative hydrometallurgical processes to extract important metals and on creating a toolkit for the metallurgical system using new methods and combinations.

Metgrow is part of the Horizon 2020 research and development programme.
