FM Logistic trusts IDP for the construction of its new logistics center in Guadalajara

FM Logistic has awarded IDP the design and construction management of its new logistics center located in Guadalajara.

The new center will be built in the El Ruiseñor Industrial Park, which borders the urban area of Guadalajara and the CM-10 road and with access to the A2. The logistics warehouse will occupy approximately 35,000 m2, including 350m2 for offices. It will have 35 loading docks and will be built on a plot of 60,000m2.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, FM Logistic has committed to following the requirements of LEED® sustainability certification to ensure energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. LEED® is one of the highest standards in sustainable construction developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, which evaluates criteria such as energy efficiency, water use, indoor environmental quality, materials and resources, and design innovation.

IDP will assume the responsibility of developing the basic and executive project and the construction management until its commissioning. All services will be carried out using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology, guaranteeing efficient management and compliance with the highest standards in terms of quality, deadlines and costs.
