IDP has been awarded with the master plan for the organized extension of the ‘Office Park’ business park in Florianópolis (Santa Catarina State – Brazil) and the Project for the first office building to be executed.

Office Park belongs to a new big area identified by the new planning approval as the new urban centrality of the island; therefore, the development of a building ensemble adapted to the environment is proposed, strengthen new complementary uses to the current administrative use and generating nice urban spaces for the citizens.

The total surface to be built will be close to 50.000 m2 in a total urbanized space of 32.900 m2, developing in this first stage a 15.000 m2 office building, with a commercial and service main floor and a parking area in the underground floors.

The project will be implemented in full by BIM (Building Information Modeling) which allows designing, planning, organizing and managing the digital building construction project as well as the subsequent works. It integrates all the information in a parameterized model, complete, unique and centralized in 5-dimensions (3 physical dimensions, the cost dimension and time dimension), speeding up the decision-making process and fully eliminating errors based on a comprehensive understanding of the project through the model.

IDP is present in Brazil since 2011, having its headquarters in Florianópolis, and since the beginning of this year also an office in Rio de Janeiro.
