IDP awarded with two new innovation centers projects in Santa Catarina
After the successful contract signed last year with the Fundação de Centros de Referência em Tecnologias Inovadoras – CERTI, a Fundation that belongs to the Santa Catarina State Government, for the architecture and engineering projects development of 10 innovation centers in the principal cities of the state: Joinville, Florianópolis, Blumenau, Criciúma, Chapecó, Itajaí, Jaraguá do Sul, Tubarão, São Bento do Sul and Joaçaba, IDP has received again the trust of the Santa Catarina State Government with the award for the development of two new innovation centers.
In particular, the two new centers will be located in the cities of Brusque with 102.000 inhabitants and Rio do Sul with 65.000 inhabitants, and each will have a built surface of 2.500 m2.
The goal is that this centers act as an innovation basis for both municipalities and its surroundings, for it, two buildings will be projected with a flexible, rational, functional and innovative design, for the technology and facilities use.
As it happened at the first contract, these projects will be entirely developed thru BIM technology “Building Information Modeling”. Also, be noted that at the prior contract, was the first time that BIM technology was used for a public project in Santa Catarina, which proves once again the wish of the Government to be on top of R&D projects in Brazil.
IDP is present in Brazil since 2011, having its headquarters in Florianópolis, and since the beginning of this year also an office in Rio de Janeiro.
