IDP has been awarded the framework agreement for the contracting of Technical Assistance Services for the drafting of projects and other technical documents for rehabilitation, replacement and renewal of assets in the railway and tourism and mountain areas of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC). IDP will develop the Technical Assistance for the drafting of projects in the field of catenaries with an estimated value of € 50,000.
FGC has been operating several railway corridors and ski resorts in Catalonia since 1979. In total, the company has more than 271 km of track that includes 12 metro lines in the city of Barcelona, as well as suburban, interurban and regional lines in the province of Barcelona, Lleida and the Pyrenees. It also operates 2 zipper trains in Montserrat and Núria, 2 funicular lines in Montserrat and another 2 in the city of Barcelona.
FGC has promoted the tendering of the framework agreement with the objective of enabling companies and professionals with experience to execute technical assistance services for the drafting of projects and technical documents for the renewal and replacement of their assets. The framework agreement has a total allocation of € 920,000 distributed in 11 lots allocated according to the technical specificity of the technical assistance services to be developed.
IDP has extensive experience in the drafting of infrastructure projects using BIM technology, both for the public and private sectors, ensuring execution, deadlines, cost, quality in all phases of the construction process.
