The students in their last year of secondary education at the school Escola Maristes Montserrat de Lleida have visited IDP headquarters in Sabadell to know our premises and working dynamics, aiming to have a close look at how an engineering company and its employees work.

Choosing a university degree is not always an easy issue. Some students have no doubts at all but some others need some advice. The goal of these visits to the company is in the best interest of the students and to allow them knowing first-hand the profession they are interested in, gathering enough information in order to plan their professional future and knowing what the professionals behind are like.

The students from the school Escola Maristes Montserrat de Lleida have known how IDP works in general terms, the activities carried out, the employees’ professional profiles and work skills, and the latest innovations that we are developing, such as the Virtual Reality applications in the design of infrastructures amongst others.

Professionals from the different departments that make up Group IDP have had the chance of explaining what their jobs consist in and sharing experiences and pieces of advice.

We are thankful for the collaboration of all students, teachers and IDP colleagues who have shared this day and we wish to have contributed in a positive way to the decision making of these young people, who are our future.
