IDP participates in the “0ACCIDNTES” innovation project to reduce occupational accidents in the construction sector

The IDP Group participates in the innovation project 0ACCIDNTES, “Research of new technologies for safety and health in construction with 0 ACCIDENTS”, financed by the CDTI, whose main objective is to reduce occupational accidents in the Spanish construction industry through the implementation of 4.0 technologies.

The project will involve the capture, processing and analysis of information for the digitization of data related to the prevention of occupational risks in workplaces. This will include aspects such as personnel, the use of personal protective equipment, the environmental and physical conditions of workplaces and the working environment.

0ACCIDNTES will develop a comprehensive cognitive ecosystem for real-time monitoring and prediction of hazardous situations for the safety and health of construction workers. This will be achieved through research that enables the collection, interpretation, digitization and intelligent and automatic management of information generated in different construction environments.

IDP will be responsible for the design of the cognitive digital twin and the integral platform based on delocalized BIM models and methodology (GeoBIM). This platform will integrate all the information so that it can be used by different actors, applications and services related to the prevention of accidents at work.

The project will last 24 months and will involve a consortium of Spanish companies and institutions with extensive experience in R&D and innovation.
