IDP participates in the “0ACCIDNTES” innovation project to reduce occupational accidents in the construction sector

The IDP Group participates in the 0ACCIDNTES innovation project, “Research into new technologies for safety and health in construction with 0 ACCIDENTS”, funded by the CDTI and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), whose main objective is to reduce occupational accidents in Spanish construction through the implementation of 4.0 technologies.
The project will involve the capture, processing and analysis of information for the digitization of data related to the prevention of occupational risks in the workplace. This will include aspects such as staffing, the use of personal protective equipment, the environmental and physical conditions of the workplaces and the working environment.
0ACCIDNTES will develop a comprehensive ecosystem for real-time monitoring and prediction of situations dangerous to the safety and health of construction personnel. This will be achieved through research that allows the collection, interpretation, digitization and intelligent and automatic management of the information generated in different construction environments.
IDP will design the cognitive digital twin and the comprehensive platform based on methodology and geolocated BIM models (GeoBIM). This platform will integrate all the information so that it can be used by different actors, applications and services related to the prevention of occupational accidents.
The project will last 36 months with a budget of €854,846, and will involve the participation of a consortium of Spanish companies and institutions with extensive experience in R+D+i.
