The IDP Group participates in the innovation project EDIFICTECH, “New technological solution 4.0 for the building sector: Connected and Centralised Management for the installation of façades”, financed by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and co-financed by the Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER) with the aim of promoting technological development, innovation and quality research.

EDIFITECH aims to develop an advanced technological solution for the collaborative and centralised management of work on modular façades, which maximises productivity, reduces construction times and reduces the accident rate in the sector, based on digital technologies based on the technological architecture of Digital Twins and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms.

The focus of the project is on the development of a technological solution that includes the conceptual definition of the new process using Process Model and Notation (BPMN) techniques that allow the coordination of the sequence of processes, information flows, data typologies and the agents involved.

IDP, as project coordinator, will act as intermediary before the CDTI, will be part of the Project Committee and will lead the management, coordination and technical execution of the project.

The project will be implemented over a period of 26 months and will involve a consortium of Spanish companies and institutions with extensive experience in R&D and innovation.
