IDP recieves the ‘ESCOBAS DE PLATA 2016’ awards

The IDP Engineering group has been awarded with the ESCOBAS DE PLATA 2016 award for the development of 13 rehabilitation and recovery projects in degenerated areas by solid waste in the cities ofAndahuaylas, Bagua, Huamanga, Oxapampa, Chancay, Pozuzo, San Juan Bautista, Yauyos, Abancay, Aymaraes, Huaura, Tarma & Chincha in Peru, covering a population of 880.823 inhabitants and a surface of 1.784.425 m2 with an investment of  70.422.048 € 

The projects belong to the Development Programme for Waste Management Systems in Priority Areas of the Environment Ministry of the Peruvian Government, and are focused to accomplish all the quality, efficiency and environmental measures.

The past June 16th, called by the technical Association for the Waste Management and Environment services (ATEGRUS), the XV Edition of the Escobas 2016 awards took place, in the frame of the activities at the International Urbanism and Environment Trade Fair organized by IFEMA, that has been taken place in Madrid between June 15th and June 17th.

This initiative was born in 1987 regarding the celebration of the European Environment Year and has as an aim to support, award and promote the good practices in the waste management and urban cleaning fields, and also the elaboration of projects and development of technologies that allow a sustainable management of the environment and that serve to improve our life quality and our cities sustainability.

This awards that IDP has received, delivered by Mr. Rafael Apraiz Egaña ATEGRUS Vicepresident, has been collected by Mr. Jesus Blasco, International Director of the IDP Group, and is a new acknowledgment to the company works in this field and specially to the team that took part at this project being the collaboration between the IDP offices in Spain and Peru a great work.
