In the frame of the Engineers Day, the institutional party of the Industrial Engineers Association of Catalonia, the IDP engineering group has received the VIII BEST BUSINESS PRACTICE AWARD for the corporate implementation of the BIM Technology as a work method for the development of the engineering, environment and architecture services  that the company offers with the aim to guarantee the work exellance of its projects, the economic control of the investments and assure the executions timings as a base of the company’s worldwide growth. 

The award for the Best Business Practice recognizes since 2009 the remarkable performances of the companies that have carried out improvement on any of their business areas, in this occasion, the jury has distinguished IDP because of the company’s results since the implementation of the BIM Technology as an working tool in the company’s offices, remarking that:

• The company’s billing between 2010 and 2016 has multiplied by 4 with a 10 million euros foreseen closure for 2016.
• In the same time period, the number of company’s workers have growth from 37 to 265. 
• The group has passed from operating only in the Spanish markets to operate in 5 countries with 8 offices in Spain, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and Chile and is developing projects in 34 countries in 4 of the 5 continents.

The act took place yesterday, June 29th, at the RBA Foundation Offices in Barcelona and counted with the assistance of Mr. Joan Baiget, the Honorable Counselor for Business and Business Growth of the Catalan Governments who delivered the award to the President of the IDP Group Mr. Enric Blasco.

With this new acknowledgment the good practices of IDP are recognized, reaffirming the success of the implementation of the company’s BIM strategy so as the company’s constant innovation in order to improve its business practices and the adoption of international tendencies in the engineering world
