BIM Academy, BuildingSMART Spanish Chapter and the CAATB organize the second edition of the EUROPEAN BIM SUMMIT that will be taken place next February 18^th and 19^th in Barcelona where the latest advances about this working method based on the generated information during the construction life cycle.  

IDP, represented by Mr. Andreu Cortada, BIM Manager of the IDP Group, will participate at this second edition in the BIM infrastructures session where he will present a lecture about the added value in the realization of projects with BIM methodology being its repercussion focused in Civil Works for its economic impact and its intensive management during the service life of the public equipment’s.

IDP started its strategy 7 years ago to impulse and implement the BIM environment in all the company’s projects, this allowed IDP to turn into a worldwide referent in BIM technology adding value to its projects with the goal to offer a better service to its clients and since then IDP works using the Open BIM system in the 8 companies offices located in 5 countries, in detail its headquarters located Sabadell-Barcelona, and delegations in Madrid, Florianopolis, Rio de Janeiro and Belem in Brazil, Lima in Peru, Santiago in Chile & Quito in Ecuador.
