Inauguration of Plaza Europa Tower of the Puig Group in Barcelona

Royalty Felipe VI and Letizia, together with other authorities, inaugurated this Wednesday the second Puig Tower, owned by the fashion and perfumery group Puig and the real estate company Colonial. The new office tower is located in Plaza Europa, in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona).

The tower has a unique design, featuring a glazed surface and a dynamic volume composed of four superimposed cubes. With a surface area of more than 21,000 m2, the tower houses 20 floors of naturally lit offices, six intelligent lifts and three parking floors equipped with charging stations for electric vehicles. It also meets the highest standards of sustainable architecture, minimising energy consumption and pollution.

This second tower, located next to the main tower, will expand the Puig Group’s corporate headquarters, providing space for 500 core operations workers, including the innovation centre, fragrance laboratories and FabLab designs, among others.

IDP has carried out the Project Management and Construction Management services until commissioning, using the BIM methodology (Building Information Modeling), which allows to guarantee and meet the highest demands in terms of programming and costs, reducing deadlines and uncertainties in construction works.
