The President of the Generalitat of Catalonia Railways’  (FGC), Enric Ticó Buxadós, and IDP ‘s Associate Director, Enric Blasco Gomez, have sign a collaboration agreement for a priority mutual commercialization and international projects of railway engineering.

Both companies focus their efforts on the American continent, and especially in countries like Brazil, United States, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Argentina.

The collaboration is set within their specialties, FGC providing expertise on issues related to the operation and maintenance, and IDP providing knowledge in railway engineering projects.

The specifically types of projects  to work are:

– drafting of basic and constructive rail lines and intercity rail systems, regional or nearby;
– construction management and technical assistance for intercity rail lines, regional or nearby;
– and technical studies and specialized consulting jobs in the railways (feasibility studies, operation and maintenance plans, etc.).

The agreement has an initial term of two years, being an important step in the collaboration of both companies.
