Last Wednesday, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the new Scannell Properties logistics centre located in the South Industrial Estate of San Agustín de Guadalix (Madrid).

The presentation event was attended by Mr. Javier Inchauspe, Managing Director of Scannell Properties in Spain; Mr. Jaime Martínez, Managing Director of Economic Promotion and Industry of the Community of Madrid; and Mr. Roberto Carlos Ronda, Mayor of San Agustín de Guadalix.

The new logistics centre will be located in an expanding strategic logistics area, with excellent connections to the centre of Madrid, Adolfo Suárez Airport and the Henares Corridor. The plot will cover an area of 72,044 m2 and will house a multi-tenant warehouse of 43,225 m2, which will be built following the highest standards of energy and environmental efficiency.
