The IDP Group is awarded the project for the construction of the Army Logistics Base
The IDP Group has been awarded the contract for technical assistance for the drafting of the basic project, execution and health and safety study of the Army Logistics Base (BLET) in Cordoba, promoted by the Ministry of Defence.
The BLET, called General Javier Varela, will be located on an 85-hectare site in the La Rinconada industrial park near Cordoba with an initial budget of 350 million euros, and will consist of more than 30 buildings distributed in five main areas according to their function: storage and distribution, repair and maintenance, calibration and analysis, operation and communications, and services.
The IDP Group applied for the tender through the UTE Ingeniería BIM Córdoba, formed by IDP Ingeniería y Arquitectura Iberia S.L. and Ecointegral Ingeniería S.L. The contract amounts to 4 million euros, will be executed entirely in BIM (Building Information Modeling) and must be completed in a period of 16 months.
The Army Logistics Base is a fundamental infrastructure for the development of military operations and the supply of army units throughout the territory.
