Mr. Fernando Brea, Govenments Territorial Delegate of the Government of Catalonia and Mr. Xavier Flores, Infrastructures and Terrestrial Mobility Delegate of the Government of Catalonia, chaired the foundation Stone laying act of the urbanization Works of the Can Margarit sector and the B-224 road link in Sant Esteve Sesrovires, with a total Surface of 65 hectares.

IDP has been chosen to write the project draft and to write the project management during the tender stage and will develop the work direction with a foreseen duration of 18 months, being this project the first urbanization project in Spain to be developed by BIM ‘Building Information Modeling’ allowing a knowledge and a global management of the project in all its stages: drafting, execution and maintenance.

The area will have 17 plots and 325.000 m2 elevation limit to host large implementations for logistics and industrial use that will contribute the regions reindustrialization.

The execution foresees to reach an earth balance, moving more than 3 million cubic meters between cut and fill earthworks. The industrial park will be equipped with all the necessary services and infrastructures, standing out a mid-tension ring, a new high-pressure gas variant and the installation of a sewage treatment plant, which will allow the regeneration of sewage waters.

The Project counts with different containment elements, including a 18.000 m2 prefabricated concrete Wall and 30.000 m2 green wall; the foreseen roadways counts with more than 3.400 ml road length and a 37 meters viaduct over the Can Margarit torrent, covering the sector’s needs.

With this performance, IDP consolidates as a reference company in the development of urbanizations and logistics sectors with various national and international projects.
