IDP receives the confidence of the company Transports de Barcelona (TMB) to carry out the project of its new central warehouse that is part of the New Technology and Logistics Center located in the Industrial Zone of the Zona Franca de Barcelona.

The construction project of the new Transport Technology and Logistics Center of Barcelona will have a total built area of ​​8,510 m2 plus a parking area of ​​12,055 m2 and will be carried out on the 21,000 m2 site located in the Industrial Zone of the Zona Franca de Barcelona. It is designed to house the future bus parking, the general store T.B., the central engine workshop, the telecommunications workshop and different rest areas and changing rooms.

The new warehouse will consist of an area of ​​approximately 5,000 m2 and will be used mainly for storage and logistics of materials and equipment.

The scope of the project developed by IDP consists of the drafting of the basic Project, executive and study of transfer of industrial equipment for the construction of the new central warehouse and the entire project will be executed using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology.

The BIM methodology allows us to design, project, organize and direct the digital construction of the project by integrating all the information in a single parameterized model in 7 dimensions, the 3 physical dimensions, the cost dimension and the time dimension, the energy and sustainability analysis and the integration with Facility Management systems.
