IDP obtains the OSHAS 18001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety

IDP has obtained the new OHSAS 18001 Occupational Safety and Health certification that is aimed at the identification, control and prevention of occupational safety and health (SST) risks for employees, visitors and customers.

Once the external audit processes and compliance with the requirements established in the procedure have been completed, the German certifier TÜV Rheinland has granted IDP this new certification, in addition to those previously obtained:

  • the ISO 9001 certificate of Quality Management Systems where the ability to provide products and services that meet the requirements of the clients is shown, complying with the appropriate regulations,
  • the ISO 14001 certificate of Environmental Management Systems where it is socially responsible, optimizing the management of resources and waste and reducing the negative environmental impacts derived from its activities,
  • and the ISO 50001 certificate of Energy Management System complying with the necessary requirements to make continuous and systematic improvements in energy efficiency to favor a more efficient and sustainable use of energy.

In this line it should be noted that IDP is also a Silver member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) that develops the LEED® certification system to measure the degree of sustainability of buildings.

With this latest achievement, the result of the collaboration of all the people in the organization, IDP reinforces its business commitment with the quality and controls established by international regulations. In this way, the company is positioned in an even more competitive situation and aligned with the best global practices.
