IDP has participated in the REBUILD 2018 Expo & Congress, an event for innovation in construction and renovation, held in Barcelona from 26 to 28 September at the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB).

REBUILD is an annual event to boost competitiveness and innovation in the building sector, rehabilitation and energy efficiency.

The event, which this year has had more than 9,000 attendees, has hosted a fair-showroom, various events and workshops, as well as the National Congress of Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0, becoming an unmissable event for any professional in the sector of construction, interior design and rehabilitation.

During the National Congress of Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0 the latest novelties in construction trends, the IoT in building management, the BIM, energy efficiency in housing and buildings, as well as the latest challenges and opportunities that are anticipated in the sector were discussed.

Mikel Borras, R+D Deputy Project Manager of the IDP Group participated in the Digital Construction and BIM session held within the framework of the National Congress of Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0 and presented the latest advances in the different innovation projects in which IDP is participating, including the BIM4Safety Programme, the PWDron Programme and the European Union’s H2020 projects such as Hermes, Intermodel, Geofit, hycool and Sphere.
