IDP participates in the first workshop of the Hybris innovation project

Mikel Borrás, Innovation PMO Manager at IDP, will participate in the first workshop of the HYBRIS innovation project, which will be held on 23rd of June 2022 in the town of Torre Faro, Messina (Sicily) in person and online.

The workshop will provide knowledge on energy storage systems and their crucial role in the energy transition, with a special focus on hybrid solutions.

The HYBRIS project, funded by the EU and framed in the call “Hybridisation of battery systems for stationary energy storage H2020-LC-BAT-9” of the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Framework Programme, aims at optimising systems as highly efficient, economical, and sustainable hybrid solutions in micro-grid applications. It presents a fully systematic, collaborative, and integrated approach for the development and deployment of an innovate hybrid energy storage system based on innovate batteries (LTO-Lithium Titanate Oxide and AORFB-Aqueous Organic red flow battery), combining diverse and complementary state of the art TRL 5-6 technologies assets.
